A rug for the bedroom

In a bedroom, a rug creates space.

Soft, pleasant materials are ideal for the bedroom. The material should also be easy to clean. A high-quality pile rug or carpet in the bedroom will not create static electricity and is easy to vacuum and clean.

Textiles help you soundproof your bedroom, and a rug or carpet plays a big role in this. A rug will make your bedroom a quieter and more relaxing place to spend time in.

A sufficiently large rug will create a luxurious look and feel. A rug placed partly under your bed will give your bedroom style. For example, a rug that is 200×300 cm in size looks great under a bed that is 160/180×200 cm. Place the rug so that there is open floor space for bedside tables and, at the three edges of the bed, about 50 cm of the rug peeks out from under it.

A fitted carpet will turn your bedroom into a beautiful suite. Textile flooring in the bedroom makes the air in the room less dusty than hard flooring does. The pile surface will bind house dust, so that there is less dust floating in the air. A high-quality material will not create static electricity and is easy to vacuum and clean.

Installing textile flooring using our carpet is easy. It can be installed, for example, on an old laminate or wooden floor. In most cases, double-sided carpet tape is all you need to fix a carpet in place in areas with regular traffic. Skirting boards complete the luxurious look. We recommend using a professional installer when you want to glue the carpet onto the floor.

All our rugs with our special backing also work well as fitted carpets. We make our carpets four metres wide, which will create a solid, seamless surface in most bedrooms. If the space is wider than four metres in both directions, the carpet is always installed so that the pile is facing the same direction in both pieces to ensure the seam is as indistinguishable as possible. With our pile carpet, the seam is easy to hide. With some of our woven carpets, another length can be installed also laterally.
